The Water Quality Association is a trade association
representing the household, commercial, industrial, and small community water treatment
industry. WQA maintains a close dialogue with other organizations representing different
aspects of the water industry in order to best serve consumers, government officials, and
industry members.

UNICEF has been involved in water, environment and
sanitation (WES) issues since the 1960s. Its first major sectoral interventions were in
response to a devastating drought in northern India in 1967. Since then, UNICEF has
supported longer-term WES programming initiatives in some 90 countries in Asia, Africa and
the Americas.

Watermark is dedicated to the development of water
supply surveillance and monitoring in low-income and transitional countries. The
information available from this site contributes to the World Health Organization's
